Soon Seong Chee

Soon Seong Chee currently serves as the Head of Manufacturing at Vivax-Metrotech Corporation, a position held since June 2025. Previously, Soon Seong Chee was Manufacturing Manager at Dexcom from September 2021 to June 2025, where significant contributions included pioneering the setup team and establishing the operating model for Dexcom Malaysia. Soon Seong Chee's earlier experience includes serving as Manufacturing Section Lead at Abbott from April 2016 to September 2021, leading LEAN projects for process improvement and production planning. From February 2012 to March 2016, Soon Seong Chee held the role of Superintendent at St. Jude Medical, overseeing budget and headcount planning while leading quality improvement projects utilizing 6-Sigma methodology. Starting the career as Section Manager at PENFABRIC Mill 4 Sdn. Bhd. from April 2003 to February 2012, Soon Seong Chee's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Universiti Sains Malaysia and STPM in the sciences stream from Chung Ling High School.
