Dr Smriti Murali Krishna

Dr. Smriti Murali Krishna is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist at VivaZome Therapeutics since 2020, while also holding the position of Senior Scientific Officer. Dr. Krishna has been affiliated with several prestigious institutions, including Monash University and the University of Melbourne as an Adjunct Senior Fellow and Adjunct Research Fellow, respectively, since September 2020, and La Trobe University as an Adjunct Research Fellow since February 2021. Additional roles include Research Officer at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and Adjunct Senior Scientist at James Cook University, both since 2020, along with a background as a Senior Research Associate at the Molecular Biology & Genetics Laboratory in the UAE from 2007 to 2009 and a Teaching Fellow at the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences in Al Ain from 2005 to 2006. Dr. Krishna earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Zoology from the University of Kerala and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from Deakin University.
