Nick Weber has worked in the field of science for over 20 years. Nick began their career in 1997 as a Research Chemist at Aerospace Corporation. In 2004, they worked as a Research Intern at the Division of Biological Sciences at the University of Montana. In 2005, they worked as a Research Associate at the NIAID-NIH Laboratory of Persistent Viral Diseases and as a Postdoctoral Fellow and PhD in the Laboratory of Molecular Immunology at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid. In 2010, they were a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow and Scientific Editor for the "Science Spotlight" newsletter at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Scientist at Arbutus Biopharma Corporation and then as Principal Scientist and New Programs & Innovation Lead and Research Scientist at Vivet Therapeutics.
Nick Weber obtained a B.A in Chemistry from Occidental College in 1999, followed by a Ph.D in Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2009.
