Sonia VALERO

Sonia VALERO has extensive experience in the field of clinical operations. Sonia began their career in 1996 as a Primary Clinical Research Associate at PAREXEL, where they were responsible for coordinating a CRA team, monitoring clinical trials, and evaluating and initiating sites. Sonia then moved to Servier in 2002, where they served as Project Manager in Regulatory Affairs and Senior Clinical Project Manager. In 2015, they joined GenSight Biologics as Director of Clinical Operations and Senior International Clinical Project Manager, and in 2018 they assumed the role of Director of Clinical Operations at PHARNEXT. Currently, they are the Head of Clinical Operations and Patient Advocacy Representative at Vivet Therapeutics.

Sonia VALERO completed their Baccalauréat série D at Lycée de Cobeil in 1989. From 1989 to 1996, they studied at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) and obtained their Diplôme d'Etat de Docteur en Pharmacie and Maîtrise de Sciences Biologiques et Médicales (M.S.B.M.) in the field of Chimie Thérapeutique et Pharmacologie. In 1995 and 1996, they also studied at Pierre and Marie Curie University and obtained their D.E.A Neurosciences.
