Doug Massey

VP, Clinical & Medical Affairs at Viveve Medical

Dr. Massey, Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs, joined Viveve with 30 years of experience working in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries. He began working in Urology by leading the pivotal clinical studies of tolterodine for overactive bladder syndrome in the United States and Canada. Since that time, Dr. Massey has held various leadership positions in both Clinical and Medical Affairs at companies including Pharmacia/Pfizer, Roche, and Genentech. In 2018, he started working for Viveve as a consultant leading the Clinical and Medical Affairs departments. He successfully completed multiple preclinical and clinical studies in his consultancy role at the Company and accepted the position of Vice President, Clinical and Medical Affairs in November 2020.

Dr. Massey received a B.S. in Microbiology from Colorado State University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Rutgers University.
