Kim Bui

Kim Bui is a dedicated quality engineer with extensive experience in software quality assurance and volunteer coordination. Currently serving as a Quality Engineer II at Vivid Seats since August 2021, Kim previously held the role of Quality Engineer I and has a robust background with Transplant Connect, where responsibilities included manual and regression testing for over 180 user stories and documentation of QA SOPs. As a volunteer lead for the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation, Kim successfully led a team of volunteers, significantly improving completion rates for volunteer requirements. Academic leadership was demonstrated as President of the Society of Women Engineers at UC Irvine, fostering networking opportunities and enhancing organizational documentation processes. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UC Irvine, complemented by various roles in research and mentorship throughout the university career.
