Jose Mateus

Jose Mateus is a seasoned immunologist with a diverse background in research and editorial roles. Currently serving as Scientist II at Vividion Therapeutics, Inc. since August 2022 and as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Immunology since July 2022, Jose has a strong foundation in academia from a postdoctoral fellowship at La Jolla Institute for Immunology and graduate research at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where a PhD in Immunology was obtained. Previous experience includes roles as a Bacteriólogo SSO and Young Investigator at relevant institutions, contributing to the field of immunology through various research and scientific endeavors.
