Kelsey Lamb

Principal Scientist at Vividion Therapeutics

Kelsey Lamb has a strong background in scientific research, with a focus on pharmaceutical sciences and chemical biology. Kelsey began their career as a Research Intern at the University of Louisville, where they completed a ten-week internship analyzing enzyme kinetics. During this time, they presented their research at a poster symposium.

Kelsey then went on to work as an Undergraduate Researcher at Bellarmine University, where they conducted research on breast cancer and presented a research proposal to Clariant. Additionally, they worked as a General Chemistry Tutor, providing assistance to students in both individual and group settings.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Kelsey pursued a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at UNC-Chapel Hill. As a Graduate Research Assistant, they worked under the guidance of Dr. Stephen V. Frye in the Division of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry. Kelsey contributed to the field by conducting research and earning their PhD.

Most recently, Kelsey has been working at Vividion Therapeutics, Inc. Kelsey has held several roles at the company, starting as a Scientist I and progressing to Senior Scientist and then Principal Scientist. Kelsey'sresearch at Vividion Therapeutics is focused on drug discovery and developing innovative solutions for pharmaceutical applications.

Kelsey Lamb completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Bellarmine University in 2014. Kelsey then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in 2019. Before their university studies, Kelsey attended Hamilton Southeastern High School from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, during their time at Bellarmine University, they were actively involved in Division II Women's Basketball.
