Umesh Kumar

Umesh Kumar currently serves as the Lead - HRBP at Vivriti Capital, having joined the company in January 2024. Prior to this role, Umesh held various positions at Maruti Suzuki India Limited from May 2016 to January 2024, including Human Resources Business Partner Lead and Campus Relations & Talent Acquisition Manager. Umesh's earlier experience includes work with the Government of Uttar Pradesh as a member of the Baseline Survey Team for the Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Pension Scheme and internships at companies such as airtel, HSBC, Cummins Inc., Asian Paints, and Tata International Limited. Umesh began a professional journey with a Management Trainee role at The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd. and has a strong academic background with a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management & Labour Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
