Katie McGuire

Katie McGuire has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Katie is currently working at Vivun as a Senior Account Manager since February 2022 and previously held the position of Account Manager from April 2020 to February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at H5 as a Senior Consultant in the Research, Modeling, and Analysis department from July 2018 to April 2020, and as a Consultant in the same department from May 2015 to June 2018. Before joining H5, Katie worked at Recommind (now OpenText) as a Client Services Manager from December 2014 to May 2015, and as a Project Manager from August 2012 to December 2014. Katie also gained experience as an Information Retrieval Researcher at H5 from March 2011 to July 2012. Earlier in their career, Katie worked as a Litigation Secretary at Perkins Coie LLP from 2010 to 2011, and as a Legal Secretary at State Farm from March 2009 to October 2010. Katie started their professional journey at ICSI - International Computer Science Institute, where they held multiple roles including Annotator in the FrameNet Project, Artificial Intelligence Research Group from March 2006 to August 2008, and Experimental Coordinator in the Speech Research Group from January 2007 to February 2008.

Katie McGuire completed their Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics & English at the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. Prior to that, in 2004, they briefly studied Linguistics at the University of Ghana.
