Amy Nelson

Amy Nelson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategy and leadership roles within the nonprofit and impact sectors. Currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Rethink Capital Partners since April 2021, Amy also contributes as a Board Member at Vivvi and has a significant tenure at Venture for America, where the roles of CEO, Managing Director, and VP of External Relations were held from September 2013 to January 2021. Prior to this, Amy held leadership positions at B Lab and the Cambodian Children's Fund, and began their career with roles at Benevolent Vision and Relief International. Academic credentials include an MBA in Economics, Social Innovation, and Impact from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Philosophy and Government from Claremont McKenna College, graduating with honors.
