Ben Newton is the Co-Founder and COO of Vivvi. Prior to that, they were the General Manager Partnerships at Wonderschool, where they launched the New York market developing systems to recruit, onboard, and fill new partner programs. Before that, they were the Director Of Business Development at MetSchools, LLC, where they reported to the CEO and Board on a range of strategic initiatives across the portfolio, including the development of admissions and marketing systems, growth of campus-based ancillary revenue, expansion of a preschool to 5th grade school to the 8th grade, and diligence behind the creation of a new private school entry in the New York market.
Before joining MetSchools, Ben was at P.Y.N. Education and Avenues: The World School. At Avenues, they were the Director of Strategy and Corporate Development where they evaluated new campus investment opportunities, managed school market analysis across a dozen cities, and worked across functional teams to support a broad range of priorities - facility design, staffing, Admissions, and ancillary services.
Ben's commitment to education began early in their career when they participated in the Urban Education Leaders Internship Program at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS). There, they served as a Senior Associate where they interned with DCPS from June 2008 to August 2008.
Ben Newton has a degree in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oxford, and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. Ben also has certification from Wharton Online in Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets, and from General Assembly in Data Analysis Circuit.
