Hans Fredrik Johansen started their education at Oppegård videregående skole, where they pursued a degree in Economics from 1986 to 1990. Following this, Johansen attended Hereford High School for a year from 1987 to 1988. Hans Fredrik then went on to study at the University of Münster, where they completed their Grundstudium in Economics from 1991 to 1994. Finally, Johansen attended BI Norwegian Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business and Economics degree in International Business Management from 1994 to 1997.
