Naama Mayer

Naama Mayer has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Naama is currently working at Viz.ai as the Director of AI, and previously held the role of AI Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Naama was a VP R&D at Maverick Medical AI, where they led the development of an NLP and deep learning engine using state-of-the-art language models. Naama also successfully led the development of the platform to reach production. Naama's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Team Leader, Team Leader, and Software and Algorithm Engineer at 3D Systems Healthcare. Naama has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University, a Software Developer at Applied Materials, and a Software Developer and Q.A at IAI. Naama's career started with their graduation from the "Haman Shchakim" program at Israel Defense Forces.

Naama Mayer completed their education in a chronological order. In 2004, they started attending Tel Aviv University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. This program lasted for three years, concluding in 2007. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting, completing it in the same duration at Tel Aviv University.

After obtaining their bachelor's degrees, Naama Mayer proceeded to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University. Naama enrolled in this program in 2007 and successfully completed it in 2011.

Additionally, Naama Mayer obtained further certifications to enhance their expertise. In December 2020, they completed a course called "NLP with attention models" offered by Coursera.
