Joe Matazzoni

Joe Matazzoni possesses extensive experience in product management and user experience design, currently serving as Senior Product Manager for UX at VIZ Media, where leadership in customer research and product development has enhanced the Shonen Jump and VIZ Manga digital services. Previous roles include Product Manager at ViacomCBS, where Joe developed new capabilities for various CMS platforms, and Product Manager at the Wikimedia Foundation, focused on enabling Wikipedia’s volunteers. Notable past positions also include Managing Producer for KQED Arts, Senior Supervising Producer at NPR Digital, and Interaction Design Director at the Wall Street Journal Online, among others. Joe holds a Master’s degree in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by studies at Parsons School of Design.
