Tom Tran

Tom Tran is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in data engineering, software development, and system architecture. Currently serving as the Data Solution Design Lead at Blue Shield of California since November 2023, Tom has held key positions including Principal Data Engineer at VizExplorer, and Principal Big Data Engineer at PriceSpider and Alignment Healthcare, where Tom developed advanced data pipelines and platforms for processing extensive medical data. Previous roles include architecting distributed systems for cybersecurity at Obsidian Security and managing high-scale data processing at CAKE. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
