Amanda Burke

Amanda Burke has a diverse range of work experience in the field of scientific research. Amanda is currently working at Vizgen as a Field Application Scientist, a role they started in March 2023. Prior to this, Amanda worked at Miltenyi Biotec, where they held two positions. From February 2021 to March 2023, they were a Field Application Scientist-Advanced Imaging. Before that, Amanda worked at Miltenyi Biotec as an Application Scientist from August 2018 to February 2021.

Earlier in their career, Amanda worked at Scripps Research as a Staff Scientist from July 2017 to August 2018. Amanda also worked there as a Postdoctoral Researcher from June 2014 to July 2017. Before joining Scripps Research, Amanda worked at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. As a Graduate Student, they worked there from January 2011 to May 2014. Prior to that, they served as a Research Associate from March 2009 to January 2011. Amanda's first role in the field was as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center from August 2007 to January 2009.

Amanda Burke completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University from 2004 to 2008. Amanda then pursued higher education at the same institution and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biological Sciences from 2011 to 2014.
