Robert Oberle

As Chief Technology Officer Dr. Oberle is responsible for the design and development of Vizinex RFID’s products and aids manufacturing in developing effective processes for production and quality control for these tags.

Dr. Oberle is a named inventor on 26 patents, most of which are related to RFID tags or tag production. Dr. Oberle’s unique combination of design experience, with over 18 years experience designing tags, and his extensive training in material science, make him one of the most innovative designers of RFID tags in the world. Prior to the founding of Vizinex, Dr. Oberle held positions in Marketing and Product Development with RCD Technologies and Engelhard Corporation, now part of BASF GmbH, and R&D posts at Enthone Corporation, a subsidiary of Cookson Electronics.

Dr. Oberle holds a Ph.D. and MS in Materials Science and Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
