Syed Sharjeelullah is an experienced data engineer with a strong background in setting up, maintaining, and developing data infrastructure. Syed has worked for various companies, including Vizio, where they currently serve as a Senior Data Engineer. In this role, Sharjeelullah is responsible for managing Vizio's data lake infrastructure and leading data initiatives by collaborating with Product and Data Science teams. Syed utilizes Apache Spark in Databricks for big data processing and develops PySpark pipelines and ETL processes.

Before transitioning into data engineering, Sharjeelullah worked as a Java Analyst Programmer at Synergy Computers and as a Mobile Application Developer at SalTec Powerlink.

Syed Sharjeelullah's education history begins in 2015 when they attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering. Syed completed this degree in 2016. Later on, in 2018, they enrolled in the same institute for another Master of Science (MS) program, this time in Engineering/Industrial Management. Syed completed this degree in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Syed has also obtained several certifications. In November 2016, they completed the "Introduction to Python- Data Analysis" certification from edX. Following that, in December 2016, they obtained the "Introduction to Python for Data Science" certification from Microsoft. Lastly, in July 2019, they acquired the "Using Python for Research" certification from HarvardX.
