Larry was former head of the White House Communications Agency, and the former President and CEO of the National Telecommunications Alliance, Inc. (NTA), a network support company which was owned by all of the Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs) including Verizon Communications, BellSouth, Qwest and SBC (Ameritech, Pacific Bell, Southwestern Bell and Southern New England Telephone). He was appointed by the President to serve on the White House National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC), from 1996 to 2000.
