Frank Schmid

Frank Schmid has a diverse work experience in the broadcast industry, starting with their most recent role as a Senior Global Support Engineer at Vizrt Group. Frank joined Vizrt in 2016 as a Broadcast Support Engineer, where they worked until 2023. Before that, they worked as a Broadcast Engineer - Freelance at The Tennis Channel in 2015 and as a Customer Support Engineer and Manager at Pixel Power Inc. from 2010 to 2015. Prior to that, they gained extensive experience at Avid from 2006 to 2010 as a Systems Engineer, providing consultative services and leading product demonstrations. Frank also worked at Pinnacle Systems as a Systems Engineer and later as a Regional Sales Manager from 1997 to 2006, where they developed relationships with dealers and provided training. Earlier in their career, they held roles at ScitexDV as an Area Sales Manager from 1996 to 1997, and at Abekas Video Systems, Inc. as a Sales Associate and a Field Service Engineer from 1988 to 1996.

Frank Schmid attended Glendale Community College from 1977 to 1979, where they studied Business. Following that, they enrolled at Pasadena City College from 1980 to 1983, earning an Associates degree in Electronics.
