Nick Rueve

Nick Rueve has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Nick started their career in 2009 as a Military Police soldier with the 354th MP Company, where they received training in law enforcement tactics and correctional tactics. From 2011 to 2013, Nick served as a Military Police officer with the 303rd MP Company, where they maintained weapons and equipment and mentored Afghanistan Police Officers in securing their country.

In 2013, Nick transitioned to the Lenexa Police Department, where they worked as a police officer until 2015. During this time, they gained experience in law enforcement and worked in high-stress situations.

Nick then joined the 173rd Airborne Brigade in 2015 and served as an Infantry Team Leader. In this role, they led soldiers through dangerous training events involving foreign militaries, displaying attention to detail, creative thinking, ambition, and tenacity.

In 2018, Nick became a Leadership Instructor at the 101st (ABN) Non-Commissioned Officers Academy. Nick trained the next generation of junior leaders for the US Army, covering topics such as leadership, conflict resolution, public speaking, team building, and physical fitness.

In 2020, Nick joined the US Army as an Infantry Squad Leader, where they conducted small unit tactics, reconnaissance, and raids against enemy forces. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Weapons Tech for VK Integrated Systems (VKIS), responsible for maintaining company property and assisting the engineering team in developing weapon systems and electronic systems for the US.

Lastly, Nick became the Sales Director for VK Integrated Systems in 2022. In this role, they directed and led others in providing superior technology for the future.

Throughout their work experience, Nick has demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.

Nick Rueve received a High School Diploma from Herculaneum High School in the years 2006 to 2010. Later, in 2011, they attended Marion Military Institute, where they studied Military Science and Operational Studies. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including Advanced Leaders Course, US Army Air Assault School, Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, Sling Load Inspector Course, US Army Airborne School, U.S. Army Infantry School, Criminal Interview and Interrogation, Basic SWAT, Homemade Explosive- Awareness, Recognition and Response Program Performance Level Training Course, Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings Program, DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Police Officer/Law Enforcement Officer/Peace Officer Certification (POST), Warrior Leaders Course, Military Police Basic Course, Secret Clearance, and USPA A License. The certifications were obtained from a range of institutions, including the US Army, Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, Kansas City Metro Tactical Officers Association, New Mexico Tech, Kansas Highway Patrol, Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, United States Department of Defense, and the U.S. Parachute Association (USPA).
