Lin de Huybrecht is a PhD student at the Flanders AI Research Program within the AI Lab at Vrije Universiteit Brussel since October 2023. Prior to this role, Lin served as a full-time teaching assistant in the Computer Science Department at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from October 2022 to September 2023, supporting courses such as the Structure of Computer Programs and Introduction to Artificial Intelligence. Lin's experience includes administrative work for the Flemish Government in August 2022 and roles in software development and student coaching during participation in the Open Summer of Code initiative in 2021 and 2022. Lin also has a background in contract and document management with BNP Paribas Fortis in August 2017 and August 2018, and co-organized the Second Edition Short Film Festival with CC De Ploter. Lin holds a Master of Applied Sciences and Engineering in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

The Flanders AI Research Program is part of the Flanders AI Program. The Flanders AI Research Program focuses on leading-edge AI research and pioneering proofs-of-concepts for healthcare, industry 4.0, governments and their citizens. This website gives you an insight on our research expertise in AI-driven data science, AI in the edge, multi-agent collaborative AI and human-like AI and application examples. For the coming years, the program will focus on use cases within three application domains, four research challenges and various proofs-of-concepts.
