Sophie V. Vandebroek

Sophie V. Vandebroek is an accomplished entrepreneur and corporate leader with extensive experience in strategic advisory roles and board governance across various technology and health sectors. As the Founder and CEO of Strategic Vision Ventures, LLC since January 2021, Sophie leverages a deep expertise in transforming fundamental research into commercial offerings. Current board positions include Non-Executive Director roles at IDEXX Laboratories, Wolters Kluwer, Inari Agriculture, Revvity, and membership on the International Advisory Board for the Flanders AI Research Program. Additionally, Sophie serves as a Strategic Advisor and Limited Partner at Safar Partners and holds the title of Honorary Professor at KU Leuven’s Faculty of Engineering Science. Sophie's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master's in Electro-mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven.
