Dave F.

Dave F. has worked in various positions in the technology industry since 1988. Dave began their career at Hewlett-Packard as an Engineer/Project Leader in 1907. In 1910, they founded and served as CEO of Airus, Inc., a software pattern recognition technology and products startup which was later sold to Apple Computer. At Apple, Dave F. worked as a Senior Software Engineer, creating pattern recognition software for vision and handwriting recognition systems and writing three software patents covering pattern recognition technology. In 1992, Dave F. founded and served as CEO of Signature Software, Inc., which grew to over $5M in annual sales and 40 employees before it was sold. In 2001, Dave F. worked as a Systems Analyst and Business Developer at Tag Services, LLC. From 2005 to 2011, Dave F. was Founder and CEO of vLetter, Inc., creating and managing mass-customization consumer products and technology licensing offerings to individual consumers and businesses. Dave also managed a wholly owned subsidiary, Schoolhouse Fonts, for the K-3 education market. From 2011 to 2017, Dave F. was Program Manager/Data Analyst at US Bank, evaluating and optimizing multiple projects within Technology Operations Services. In 2017, Dave F. founded and served as CEO of Booster Batteries.

Dave F. has a diverse education history. Dave obtained an MBA in Technology & Strategy from Portland State University - School of Business between 2005 and 2008. Dave also obtained an MS in Engineering & Technology Management from Portland State University between 2005 and 2008. Dave received an MS in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a BS in Communications/Journalism from the same institution. Dave also obtained certifications from Project Management Institute, CollabNet, Columbia Gorge Community College and CALISO/SAE. Additionally, they have certifications in Bareboat Chartering, Coastal Cruising, Open Water Diver, Project Management Professional (PMP), AS9100C Certification and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
