Jorge Hernández Esteban's work experience has been as follows:
- From 2021 onwards, they have been working as a Regional Sales Manager, Iberia at Extreme Networks. In this role, they are responsible for all sales activities for the SAAS product lines in Spain and Portugal, as well as channel development for Extreme Networks' SAAS portfolio.
- In 2015, they co-founded Vikinguard and has been involved in the company since then.
- In 2014, they also co-founded BDI biotech and has served as a Board Advisor for the company.
- Since 2012, they have been a co-founder and Board Advisor at VLPbio.
- From 2004 to 2021, they worked at Infovista in various roles. These include Sales Director, Enterprise - Iberia, where their responsibilities included the direct sales and channel management for the Infovista SDWAN product line in Spain and Portugal, as well as creating and launching the local 2Tiers distribution business model in these countries. Jorge also served as the Sales Director, Western Europe, overseeing InfoVista business activities in Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Switzerland, Belgium, and Luxembourg. Jorge was also the Telefónica Group Account Manager and was involved in the global coordination of Telefónica-related business. Before that, they held roles as a Presales Manager for Southern Europe & Latin America, Presales Manager for InfoVista Iberia, and Customer Support Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for a range of activities, including selling to various levels of enterprises, responding to RFPs and RFIs, creating technical and economical proposals, conducting product presentations, and managing partnerships and references.
Jorge Hernández Esteban began their education at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Jorge then pursued further education at the INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon from 2000 to 2001, graduating with a degree in Engineering, specializing in Networks and Telecommunication. Continuing their academic journey, Jorge attended IE Business School from 2008 to 2009, where they completed an Executive MBA.
