Joep Brand

Joep Brand has extensive experience in information security and IT operations, highlighted by a role as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at Shell from April 2006 to October 2020, where accountability included the information risk management strategy and the integration of IT infrastructure following Shell's acquisition of BG. Other significant positions at Shell included Service Operations Manager for Upstream Operations and IT Technology Manager for the E&P sector. Joep Brand has also owned IQuench and served as COO at Artict, along with consulting roles at CMG and DIV, and began a career as a network specialist at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. Currently, Joep Brand volunteers with Ukrainian refugees at VluchtelingenWerk Nederland, starting in May 2022.
