Paul Elliott

Paul is a Results Focused member of the VM Group’s Executive Leadership team, having been promoted to the Group Leadership post in January 2022. Paul, who on January 1, 2021, was appointed Deputy CEO – Building Society Operations, is unwavering in his commitment to transform the lives of the VM Group’s Members & Clients. Before assuming the Deputy CEO role, Paul had a successful stint as Vice President, Sales and Service, a role to which he was appointed in March 2017.

Paul joined the VM Group in July 2016 having already accumulated more than 25 years of solid experience in the financial services industry both locally and regionally. He has vital expertise in corporate and commercial lending, retail banking, mortgage lending, bank assurance, investment sales and business development.

Prior to joining the VM Family, Paul was Senior Manager – Head of Personal Lending at Butterfield Bank; and before that, he served the same organisation as the Vice President – Retail Business Development Manager.

Paul has held leadership roles in the Rotary Club both locally and internationally and is a past President of the Rotary Club of St George, Bermuda.

He holds a BSc from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from the University of London – Royal Holloway. Paul is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School.
