Charlotte Geary

Charlotte Geary is a seasoned photographer and multimedia researcher currently contracted to the U.S. National Science Foundation as the staff photographer for high-profile meetings and events since March 2023. With a robust background in commercial photography, Charlotte Geary operated a successful photography business from 2001 to 2023, handling various commissions and licenses nationwide. Previous roles include Editor-in-Chief of Modern Reston magazine from 2014 to 2017, Senior Instructional Designer at Intelligent Automation, Inc. from 2003 to 2004, and instructional design positions at K12. Early career experience includes working as a Research Associate at Caliber Associates and as a Counselor at Boys and Girls Homes of Maryland. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from the University of Virginia.
