Tom Bakker

Tom Bakker has extensive experience in the engineering and technical fields, currently serving as a hardware engineer at VMI Group since October 2012, with a forthcoming role as an incoming hardware engineer in the truck order engineering department. Previously, Tom held various positions, including project responsible electro technician at VMI Group and service technician for diesel generator sets at Bredenoord A/S. Tom's background includes a significant tenure at the Ministry of Defence, where responsibilities ranged from instructing soldiers in electrotechnics to leading teams in mobility and construction tasks during deployments, including one in Afghanistan. Tom holds multiple educational qualifications, including an MBO in electronic automation and electro-technical installations, as well as a sergeant's training from the Ministry of Defence.
