Thomas Kearns, CISSP

Thomas Kearns, CISSP has over 30 years of experience in the cyber security industry. Thomas began his career in 1989 as the Director of Managed Network and Security Services at Verizon. In 2007, he joined Paranet as a Senior Security Sales Consultant, where they quickly generated a $1 million quarterly pipeline in qualified hardware, software and professional service opportunities. In 2010, he moved to TDi Technologies, Inc. as the Director of Strategic Account Sales, and was responsible for developing the multi-million dollar Verizon account. Thomas then joined IBM Services in 2013 as a Security Consulting Sales Specialist, where they were accountable for developing industry and commercial security solutions. In 2015, he became a Managed Security Services Sales Specialist at Singtel, and in 2017, they joined Qualys as an Enterprise Pre-Sales Technical Account Manager. In 2021, he joined Proficio as a Sr. Pre-Sales Security Consultant, and most recently, in 2022, they became a Sr. Security Solutions Engineer at VMRay.

Thomas Kearns, CISSP has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from St. John's University obtained in 1984. Thomas also has a number of certifications, such as CISSP, Sales OS Certification from ZoomInfo obtained in August 2022, Ethical Hacking: The Complete Malware Analysis Process from LinkedIn obtained in July 2022, Executive Primer on Appache Lof5j Vulnerability from InfraGard National Members Alliance obtained in February 2022, ServiceNow: Basic Administration from LinkedIn obtained in January 2022, AWS: Enterprise Security from LinkedIn obtained in October 2021, Careers in Cloud Computing: IT Pro to Microsoft Cloud Pro from LinkedIn obtained in October 2021, Tech on the Go: Ethics in Cybersecurity from LinkedIn obtained in October 2021, Programming Foundations: Algorithms from LinkedIn obtained in August 2021, Qualys Certified Specialist from Qualys obtained in September 2020, Palo Alto Accredited Sales Executive (ASE) from Palo Alto Networks obtained in January 2016, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² obtained in January 2005. Thomas also holds a Licensed Amateur Radio Operator License from the Federal Communications Commission.
