Tonya Broyles

Tonya Broyles has worked in medical science leadership, clinical trials, and nurse education for almost 15 years and joined VMS in 2021. In her role, she manages clinical educators nationwide and the execution of high-quality service for VMS patients. Using her wealth of leadership and pharmaceutical experience, Tonya instills confidence into the field-based teams and enables them to be successful educators. In addition to her responsibilities leading educator teams, Tonya manages and allocates resources nationwide and conducts ongoing evaluation of the clinical educator program. In addition to the culture and team environment of VMS, Tonya loves how the end goal of patient education and empowerment drives every decision the company makes.

Prior to joining VMS, Tonya spent 14 years as a national director with IQVIA where she performed a variety of functions including clinical nurse education, clinical trials, and medical affairs consulting. She also was an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee and an ICU RN before joining IQVIA.

Tonya graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2006 with PHDs in nursing and philosophy.
