Maddie Ruth

Maddie Ruth is an experienced community health worker currently employed at UVM Health Network Home Health & Hospice since June 2019, where the focus is on building trust, bridging culture, and reducing disparities through advocacy and support for culturally appropriate health education. Prior roles include assistant manager at Richmond Food Shelf & Thrift Store (January 2019 - March 2023), operations manager at Maple Wind Farm Inc (April 2015 - June 2019), and general manager at Gaylord Farm (June 2011 - April 2015). Maddie also has experience as a school instructor and crew leader at Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (June 2009 - June 2011). Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University (2005 - 2009) and a Professional Certificate in End of Life Doula from the University of Vermont (May 2018 - September 2018).
