Kelly Wong has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent role is as the Vice President of Game Entertainment at VNG Corporation since March 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Group CFO and Vice President of Finance at Kido Group from August 2011 to June 2020. Kelly also worked at Ho Chi Minh City Securities Corporation, where they held the positions of Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking, as well as Director from December 2009 to August 2011 and from March 2008 to December 2009 respectively. Kelly Wong started their career at HSBC Vietnam, first as a Relationship Manager and later as a Corporate Sales Manager from July 2004 to March 2008. Kelly also gained experience as a Corporate Sales Representative at Pepsi Bottling Group from July 2002 to September 2003. Kelly began their career as a Business Consultant through an internship at ZEFER Corporation from May 2000 to August 2000.
Kelly Wong attended The University of British Columbia from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Management Information Systems. In 2003 and 2004, they attended Capilano University and obtained a diploma in the Asia Pacific Management Co-Op Program. In 2018, they obtained a certification as a CPA from CPA Australia.
