Karine Palacios

Karine Palacios has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Karine is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at Vocalcom since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at British Telecom from 2006 to 2022, holding various positions including Head of Global Product Management - BT Cloud Contact Centre and Market Development Director.

Before their time at British Telecom, Karine worked as the Distribution Strategy Director at Concert (Joint Venture BT/AT&T) from 2002 to 2005. Karine also gained valuable experience as the Global Channel Development - Senior Manager at Concert (BT and MCI Joint Venture) from 1996 to 2001.

Karine started their career at BT Spain in 1992, where they served as the Marketing Communications and Public Affairs Manager. Karine successfully managed a team and implemented marketing and communications strategies to position BT as a market leader in the Spanish telecom industry.

Prior to joining BT Spain, Karine worked as a Marketing Manager at CGI from 1990 to 1992. Overall, Karine Palacios has extensive experience in product management, marketing, and strategy across multiple industries.

Karine Palacios has an extensive education history. Karine attended CELSA Paris-Sorbonne from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a Magistere degree in Information and Communications sciences applied to Business Management. During the same period, they also studied at the Université Paris-Sorbonne and obtained another Magistère degree in Information and Communications sciences. Additionally, from 1986 to 1990, they attended the Institut des Hautes Etudes de l'information et de la communication, where they earned a Magistère degree in Sciences de L'information et de la communication - Marketing International.

In terms of certifications, Karine obtained the SAFe Agilist Certification from Tech Mahindra in May 2019. Karine also completed training in ISO 27001, BT Voice technologies, and HItrust, although the specific dates and institutions for these certifications are not provided.
