Herman Steyn

Herman Steyn is an accomplished audit professional with extensive experience in internal and external auditing. Currently serving as Principal Specialist: Internal Audit at Vodacom since June 2008, responsibilities include supporting the Managing Executive: Internal Audit and managing the execution of audit roles within the Vodacom Combined Assurance Framework. Prior to this, a role as Manager: Internal Audit was held, focusing on delivering the audit plan and managing team performance. Previously, at KPMG South Africa, management of local and international audits and mentoring of audit teams were key responsibilities. Initial audit experience was gained as an Audit Clerk at Loubser du Plessis Inc, where competencies in audit planning, internal controls evaluation, and financial reporting were developed. Academic credentials include a B.Acc.Hons degree from the University of the Free State, completed in 2003.
