Maakopi Reason Maredi

Maakopi Reason Maredi serves as the Executive Head of Legal (M&A) at Vodacom, bringing extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in mergers and acquisitions. Previous roles include Head of Transaction Solutions at Aon, Legal Counsel at the Takeover Regulation Panel, and Partner at Webber Wentzel, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions, Takeovers, and Equity Capital Markets. Additionally, Maakopi is an Alumni Fellow at the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation. Maredi holds a Masters of Management in Finance and Investments from the University of the Witwatersrand, completed in June 2023, as well as prior education from the same institution during 2012 to 2013.
