Tebatso Moshabi

Tebatso Moshabi has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Tebatso began their career at Anglo Platinum as a Metallurgy Trainee in 2011. Tebatso then joined Sasol as a Process Engineer in 2016 and worked there until 2019. Tebatso then transitioned to Old Mutual Limited, where they held two positions: Data Scientist in the People Data & Analytics department from 2021 to 2022, and Business Analyst in the IT Operation Readiness & Cybersecurity department from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, Tebatso joined The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as a Tutor, teaching Marketing Analytics for Consumer Insights until 2023. Currently, Tebatso is employed at Vodacom, where they hold the role of Technical Delivery Lead for Fraud Solutions since 2023. Additionally, they also served as an Analytics Specialist for Network Performance Intelligence at Vodacom from 2022 to 2023. Throughout their career, Tebatso has gained extensive knowledge and experience in various roles within the fields of engineering, data analysis, and cybersecurity.

Tebatso Moshabi is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Data Science at Stellenbosch University since 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Operations Research/Decision Science from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2020.

In 2018, Tebatso completed postgraduate short courses in Systems Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand. They had previously obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university in 2015.

Their education journey began at Northern Academy Secondary School, where they completed their secondary education from 2006 to 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Tebatso Moshabi obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certifications from Microsoft in 2021. They also obtained the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification in July 2022.
