Anil Varshney

Anil Varshney has over 20 years of work experience in various sales and management roles. Anil currently serves as the Vice President & Circle Sales Head for AP&T at Vodafone Idea Limited since October 2023. Before this, they held the position of Vice President & Circle Sales Head for Odisha at Vodafone Idea Limited from February 2022 to October 2023. From September 2018 to February 2022, Anil worked as the Mass Retail Distribution Head at Vodafone Idea Limited. Prior to their time at Vodafone Idea Limited, they worked at Idea Cellular Ltd as the Head of Prepaid Sales from July 2017 to August 2018. Anil also served as the Zonal Business Manager at Idea Cellular Ltd from September 2009 to June 2017, and as the Head of PCO Sales from May 2008 to September 2009. Before joining Idea Cellular Ltd, Anil worked at Reliance Communications as the Head of PCO Sales from April 2007 to May 2008, and as a Business Development Manager from September 2006 to March 2007. Anil also gained experience at Bharti Airtel Limited as a Zonal Sales Manager from August 2005 to July 2006. Earlier in their career, Anil worked at Dalmia Consumer Care as an Area Sales Manager from March 2003 to July 2005, at DS Group as an Area Sales Manager from January 2000 to February 2003, and at Godfrey Phillips India Ltd as a Sales Officer from July 1996 to December 1999.

Anil Varshney completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics and Maths from Bareilly College in the years 1990 to 1993. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Marketing from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University during the period of 1993 to 1995.
