Rajnish Garg

Rajnish Garg has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Rajnish started their career in 1999 as an Engineer at Escotel Mobile Communications Ltd. In 2000, they joined HFCL as a Sr. Engineer in Network Planning before moving to Tata Teleservices Ltd. in 2002 as an Astt. Manager in Network Planning and Implementation. At Tata Teleservices, they successfully implemented various network projects within a short span of time. In 2004, they joined airtel as a Sr. Manager in Network Planning, where they were responsible for centralized planning of the BTSOL National Long Distance (NLD) network. In 2008, they joined Idea Cellular Ltd. as a Sr. General Manager in NWS, Transport Planning & Projects, where they oversaw the design, planning, and implementation of the Optical Transport portfolio. Since 2018, they have been working at Vodafone Idea Limited as the Vice President of Transport Planning and Program Management, where they are leading the consolidation of two complex transmission networks and working towards creating a single end state transmission network. Overall, Rajnish Garg has extensive experience in network planning, design, and implementation, with a focus on optical transport technologies.

Rajnish Garg completed their MBA in Operations from Amity University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their B. Tech degree in Electronics Communications from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, they hold several certifications including Huawei Certified Product Master, Huawei DWDM/ASON Network Planning Training, Oscilloquartz certified SYNC Professional, IP-MPLS Training from BSNL ALTTC, and TL 9000 Internal Auditor for telecom networks.
