Nick Hartman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Nick started their career as a DiscJockey at Polly Maggoo from 2005 to 2009. Nick worked as a Part-time Marketing & Sales Assistant at Thysia Information Management B.V. in 2009. Later, at Unilever, they ran a program around the soccer World Cup of 2010 and conducted research for their Master's thesis on the influence of corporate branding. In 2010, they worked as a Consumer Sales Representative for T-Mobile at the Customer Contact Company.

In 2011, Hartman joined Vodafone Global Enterprise, first as an Inside Sales representative, then as a National Account Manager, and finally as a Global Account Manager until 2017. Nick then returned to VodafoneZiggo and held multiple roles, including Head of CoE Digital Sales & Sales Enablement (a.i.) and Manager Corporate Large Enterprise Sales & Hospitality. Currently, they serve as the Head of Corporate International Accounts at VodafoneZiggo, leading a team of senior account managers and managing key accounts.

Outside of their corporate work, Hartman founded Nick Hartman Fotografie in 2021. Overall, they have gained extensive experience in sales, account management, leadership, and digital sales strategy.

Nick Hartman has a Master's degree in Marketing Management from Tilburg University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Tilburg University from 2004 to 2009. Their secondary education was at Sint Oelbert Gymnasium, where they studied Economie & Maatschappij from 1997 to 2004.
