Rob Hekkens

Rob Hekkens has extensive experience in telecommunications and network architecture, currently serving as the Technical Platform Lead Data, Lead Architect Core Network, and Technical Architect at VodafoneZiggo since January 2017. Prior to this role, Rob held the position of Technical Architect at Vodafone from December 2014 to January 2017, focusing on the planning and design of the Packet Core area for Vodafone Netherlands. Rob's career began as an Engineer at Vodafone-NL, where responsibilities included the architecture and design of end-to-end monitoring for core network elements. Earlier experience includes a Solutions Architect role at Ericsson, where tasks involved creating LTE EPC networks and designing packet data networks, along with engineering duties at Neways International. Education includes a degree from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and earlier studies at Leeuwenborgh.
