GS Rao is an experienced professional in the field of security and fraud management with a career spanning from 1997 to the present. Currently serving as the Global Head of Fraud Management & Investigations and Head of Security Operations at Vodafone since May 2017, GS Rao has extensive experience in corporate security, business resiliency, and risk management. Prior roles include Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Security at Sutherland Global Services, where responsibilities included developing security management frameworks across various international locations. GS Rao has also held positions such as Assistant General Manager at Piaggio, Chief Security Officer at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, and Location Security Manager at Wipro Technologies. With a foundational role as a Zonal Security Officer at Andhra Bank and service as a Captain in the Indian Army, GS Rao's expertise is backed by a B.Sc. in Geology from Andhra University.
