Luigi Iaccarino

Luigi Iaccarino is a seasoned professional in cyber security and technology, currently serving as the Head of Global Cyber Defence and Cyber Security for Vodafone Italy and the European Markets, excluding UK, Germany, and Spain, since July 2012. In previous roles at Vodafone, Luigi held the position of Chief Technology Security Officer, overseeing security architecture design, incident handling, and strategy definition. Prior to Vodafone, Luigi was a Senior Manager at Accenture, where responsibilities included managing telecommunication practices across multiple regions, engaging with technology providers, and leading various telecom projects, including MVNO set-ups and real-time charging systems. Luigi holds a Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, attained from 1992 to 1998.
