Jaroslaw Sobel

Jaroslaw Sobel has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies.

Starting from 2003, they worked as a Developer and Team Leader at EGAsoft, where they created a documents and workflows management system called flyDOC. The system was used by multiple Polish credit unions and primarily focused on loan underwriting and collection processes. Jaroslaw held this position until March 2009.

From April 2009 to November 2011, Jaroslaw served as the IT Manager and Information Security Administrator at Powszechna SKOK - Credit Union.

In November 2011, they joined ING Bank Slaski as an IT Specialist, specializing in Citrix, NetApp, VMware, and Hyper-V technologies. Over the course of their tenure, their responsibilities grew, and they eventually became a Senior IT Specialist and then an IT Expert. Their work involved designing and implementing Citrix products like XenApp and XenDesktop, as well as managing provisioning services, EdgeSight, and XenServer.

In January 2018, Jaroslaw transitioned to Vodeno, where they assumed the role of Product Owner and Enterprise Architect. Jaroslaw was responsible for the creation of the Bank Transactional System and the core systems of the Vodeno Cloud Platform, which is a fully cloud-native banking platform. Later, they took on the position of Head of Core Services, leading four squads and overseeing the development of Vodeno's Core Banking System. Additionally, they worked as an Enterprise Architect responsible for the Core Banking Systems of the Vodeno Cloud Platform.

Jaroslaw's most recent role at Vodeno, which started in December 2022, is the Head of NatWest SaaS Solution and NatWest Project Implementation Lead.

Jaroslaw Sobel obtained their MSc in Computer Science from The Silesian University of Technology, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they hold various certifications, including an EF SET English Certificate (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test obtained in April 2023, and certifications in Applied Machine Learning in Python, Machine Learning, and Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization obtained in 2017. Jaroslaw also has certifications in Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012, NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer - SAN Specialist, Data ONTAP 7-Mode, and MS Specialist - Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center obtained in previous years.
