Merel Roks

Merel Roks has extensive experience in coordinating volunteer efforts and managing projects related to urban environments and conservation. Currently serving as a Volunteer Coordinator and Project Officer for Vogelbescherming Nederland since August 2020, Merel previously worked as an Editor for Animals Today and held analytical roles at EOKM. Merel has a solid background in E-Learning, having worked as an Editor and IT Documentation Officer at RoserConsys B.V. Additionally, Merel contributed to Vogelbescherming Nederland as a Policy Officer and Intern in the conservation department, and gained experience in exhibition coordination at World Press Photo. Educational qualifications include degrees in Marine Mammal International Science and Policy, Marketing, and Culture and Literature from institutions such as George Mason University and Tilburg University.
