Mette Vreeken

Mette Vreeken is a seasoned public affairs professional with extensive experience in various advisory roles, currently serving as a Senior Adviseur Public Affairs at Vogelbescherming Nederland since October 2019. Prior roles include interim positions at Vogelbescherming Nederland and Stichting Lobby Lokaal, as well as working with Wallaart & Kusse Public Affairs, where Mette progressed from an intern to an adviser. Mette has also contributed to public affairs support at organizations such as Groene11 and GVB. Early experience includes being a foreign correspondent for Jonge Historici, freelancing as a reporter for the Alternatieve Elfstedentocht Weissensee, and producing television items for the European Commission. Mette holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Utrecht University and an Executive Master in Communication from SRM, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
