Pamela Prather

Pamela Prather has over 20 years of experience in coaching and teaching, specializing in actor coaching for executives. Pamela is the founder and lead coach of Pamela Prather Coaching, where they create customized programs for individuals and C-suite executives. Pamela also incorporates laughter yoga into their voice teaching and coaching. Pamela has worked as an associate teacher at Fitzmaurice Voicework and served as the past president of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association - VASTA. Additionally, Pamela has served as an associate professor emerita at Purchase College and as an executive coach at Springboards Consulting. Pamela has also worked as a voice coach at Alley Theatre and as a dialect coach for the Cleveland Play House. Pamela has presented at the Care@Work Conference in NYC and has worked as a consultant at Barclays Capital.

Pamela Prather holds an MFA degree in Acting, which they obtained from UCLA from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their BA in Communications & Political Science at The University of New Mexico from 1984 to 1989. There is no information available regarding their studies before attending The University of New Mexico. In addition to their formal education, Pamela has obtained various certifications over the years. These include becoming a Founding Member of Albuquerque Women in Business for Good in March 2023, an Official Instructor in Vibrant Voice Technique from The Vibrant Voice Technique in August 2016, and a Professional Co-Active Coach (Life Coaching) from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in May 2009. Furthermore, Pamela holds certifications as a Laughter Yoga Certified Teacher from Laughter Yoga International in March 2007, Reiki Level I & Level II Certification from Reiki in July 2006, Prana Yoga from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in April 2003, and Associate Teacher Fitzmaurice Voicework from the Fitzmaurice Institute in August 2002.
