Vivek Shenoy

Vivek Shenoy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Vivek started their career as an Application Technical Specialist at PowerCerv Corporation, where they implemented ERP Plus applications and worked on customer customization projects. Vivek then worked at Voya Financial (ING Variable Annuities) as a Senior Developer before becoming a Lead Developer at Cendant Mortgage.

In 2001, Vivek worked briefly as a Consultant at Bentley Systems, Inc and then joined Access Group Inc as a Consultant, where they worked until 2007. During this time, they were involved in designing, developing, and maintaining web and smart client applications.

From 2007 to 2010, Vivek worked at Voice Systems Engineering as a Consultant, focusing on website development and enhancing the order entry application. Vivek later returned to the company in 2010 as a Release Train Engineer and Senior Software Developer, wearing multiple hats in Application Lifecycle Management. Their responsibilities included coordinating releases, implementing release calendars, managing risks, automating release processes, and developing eCommerce applications.

Vivek also had a role as a .NET Consultant at ING DIRECT in 2010, where they customized the Loan Origination System and practiced Agile development methodology. Vivek then worked as a Consultant at Campus Philly from 2008 to 2015, and as the President of Padav Systems Inc from 2000 to 2016.

Throughout their career, Vivek has used various technologies such as C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, and Powerbuilder 4. Vivek has also gained experience in project management, Agile development, and customization of software applications.

Vivek Shenoy has a diverse education history. Vivek first attended St Aloysius High School from 1981 to 1985, where they completed their Pre-University studies in Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Biology. Vivek then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronics from Bangalore University, completing it from 1985 to 1990.

Vivek went on to further their education by obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) from Annamalai University, which they completed from 1990 to 1991. Continuing their academic journey, Vivek pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma, completing it from 1992 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Vivek has also obtained various certifications. These include the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in August 2021, the SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2016, the Professional Scrum Master I, Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I), Professional Scrum Developer I, and Professional Scrum Developer™ I (PSD I) certifications from Scrum.org in December and November 2015 respectively, and the MCSD - Application Lifecycle Management from Microsoft in February 2014.
