Pedro Matos de Carvalho has over 8 years of work experience. In 2012, they began as a Researcher (Master Student) at INOV. In 2017, they became a Software Engineer at Chic by Choice and Branded Entertainment Network, where they refactored the application authentication/authorization logic, implemented async jobs processing, migrated from MongoDB to PostgreSQL, and migrated from REST API to GraphQL API. In 2021, they became a Senior Backend Engineer at Laserhub GmbH. Currently, they are a Senior Backend Engineer at Voiceflow.

Pedro Matos de Carvalho achieved a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico between 2011 and 2013.
